FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does a fire safety audit cost?+
For a small building or an SME, allow from CHF 890.–, visit and report included. A larger site, several buildings or a special use (care home, accommodation, building open to the public) take more time: the free quote sets the exact amount before any commitment.
My building has a compliance certificate. Is an audit useful?+
Yes. A certificate reflects the situation on a given date. Uses change, installations age, maintenance contracts expire. The audit checks that current operations remain under control and demonstrable.
Who carries out the audit?+
Farid Menouni, fire safety officer certified by the Swiss Safety Center. He carries out the visit himself and writes the report.
What happens if a serious deviation is found?+
An immediate danger (blocked emergency exit, fire door wedged open, hazardous storage) is reported to you on site for immediate action, without waiting for the report. Other deviations are ranked by risk level with proposed deadlines, to be adapted to your situation and to the authority's requirements.
