FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does my company need to call in an MSST specialist?+
The employer must call in workplace safety specialists when the protection of workers' health and safety requires it, in particular where there are special hazards and the company lacks the necessary expertise. EKAS/CFST Directive 6508 sets out these requirements according to the type of hazards and the size of the company. Joining an industry solution is the most common route. The free initial consultation helps place your company.
What is the difference between an audit and an external safety officer engagement?+
The audit takes stock at a given moment and leaves you with an action plan. The external engagement provides follow-up over time: updating hazards, tracking measures, support after an accident or during an inspection.
How much does an MSST audit cost?+
From CHF 1,200.– for an SME on one site. The amount depends on headcount, number of sites and hazards present. The free quote sets the price before any commitment.
Are psychosocial risks included?+
Yes, on request. Psychosocial risks (overload, conflict, harassment) are part of the health protection required by the Labour Act. They can be addressed through confidential interviews.
