Yes. A certificate reflects compliance on a given date. The VKF/AEAI fire protection standards in force (2015 edition, currently under full revision) form the harmonised basis, supplemented by cantonal requirements and decisions applicable to the building. Systems age, room uses change, maintenance contracts expire. An old certificate is not always enough to show that current operations remain under control.

Inspection requirements depend on the use, the canton, the risk and the decisions of the competent authority. Care homes, hotels, schools, shops, workshops and buildings open to the public must be able to demonstrate a consistent fire safety organisation. The issue is not only the inspection: it is your ability to prove that risks have been identified and followed up.

An immediate danger (blocked emergency exit, fire door wedged open, hazardous storage) is reported to you on site, for immediate action, without waiting for the report. Other deviations are ranked by risk level, with proposed correction deadlines: these are planning benchmarks, to be adapted to your situation and to the requirements set by the competent authority. The six months of follow-up included support you during implementation.

Yes. A full revision of the Swiss fire protection standards is under way at the VKF/AEAI. Until it enters into force, the current standards remain applicable, together with cantonal requirements. The audit is based on the rules in force at the time of the visit and, where useful, flags points to anticipate.

Every company that employs staff must organise workplace safety and health protection. Under EKAS/CFST Directive 6508, the employer must call in specialists when the protection of workers requires it, in particular where there are special hazards and the company lacks the necessary expertise. The assessment takes into account the hazards present, in-house skills and headcount. The most common route is joining an industry solution; an external safety officer can handle its implementation. The safety contact person is the in-house point of reference who follows up measures, deadlines and exchanges with external specialists. Their appointment depends on your organisation, the risk level and the MSST solution chosen. Yes. Psychosocial risks (overload, harassment, isolation, workplace violence) fall within the health protection required by Art. 6 of the Labour Act. The audit can include confidential individual interviews to assess these risks without any answer being attributable to a person.

BLS-AED-SRC is a recognised Swiss standard for cardiopulmonary resuscitation and defibrillation, according to the requirements of the Swiss Resuscitation Council. A generic first aid course does not always cover defibrillation or the requirements for BLS-AED-SRC certification. For companies that want to prepare their teams for cardiac arrest, it is the most relevant format.

Yes. It is often the most useful format: participants learn in their real environment, with their own defibrillator if the building has one. All necessary equipment is provided (manikins, training AEDs, kits). All you need is a room of about 20 m² for 6 participants.

A reminder can be scheduled two months before the certificates expire. The BLS-AED-SRC refresher is offered from CHF 140.– per participant, on your premises. Techniques evolve with ERC and SRC guidelines: the refresher is a genuine update, not a formality.

For standard engagements in French-speaking Switzerland, travel costs are included in the quote. If the site is remote, spans several locations or needs several visits, this is stated clearly before confirmation.

Yes. Vitalis Sécurité can support municipalities, schools, care homes and public bodies according to their needs. Documents required for public procurement can be provided when the engagement requires it: formal quote, declaration of independence and available administrative documents.
